This advanced method expertly determines the shear strength of soil using 3 or 4 cylindrical specimens, each subjected to distinct ambient pressures (i.e., small principal stress σ3) and stress differences (σ1-σ3). Shear is applied until failure, revealing comprehensive shear strength parameters. It also provides insights into triaxial creep, triaxial permeability, lateral pressure coefficients, unconfined compressive strength tests, and strain control loading consolidation tests, all grounded in the well-established Mohr-Coulomb theory.
Determine the total and effective shear strength parameters of various soils such as fine-grained and sandy soils. Our tests adapt to different drainage conditions, including unconsolidated undrained shear (UU), consolidated undrained shear (CU), and consolidated drained shear (CD). Additional evaluations cover pore water pressure dissipation and multi-stage loading triaxial compression, providing a comprehensive analysis of soil behavior.
Our pressure chamber offers flexibility with built-in or external sensor options. The built-in sensor significantly reduces friction resistance and remains unaffected by confining pressure, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
